The first thought that comes to mind when I look at this is that one day those guys are going to look back on that photo of themselves trying to look so badass, and cringe! LOL
OMG. I don't even know what to say about this. Do kids not understand that people see facebook!!!! and do we WANT to see it, or is it best NOT to be seen? I so sorry. What do you do?
Not this one, Robin, this one http://keepinyouout.blogspot.com/2012/07/just-anotha-night-in-hell.html What do I do? I write, pray, visit, love, cry, hope, fear and write. A lot of it is in this blog.
This scares the living hell out of me, as my oldest will be 13 in October. There are already more days than not, that I feel like I could choke the life out of him. He is 6 foot tall, 225 pounds and has already gone through puberty. Has whole chest of hair! He thinks he is grown and knows EVERYTHING! I will give him the fact that he is beyond super smart, (smarter than myself lol) but I don't dare tell him that. All I can come up with is I DETEST little boys from the age of about 10 and up. When do they usually grow out of this? I know some don't, but...
tattoedtrailertrash, They're all different. My 16 year old is straight A, honor roll, has a job...blah blah blah. My oldest girls were mouthy, but are very successful adults. My feeling is you're in the thick of it. I found things improved with the girls around 16 1/2. I know how you feel. I have an almost 14 year old boy who is testing and not passing. I just turned his phone off today. I can't go through it again. 6 foot, 225? You know what really helps my 2 middle sons is sports. Is he involved in any?
Every day tops rhe last. It's just hard when people are talking about bs and i got the marshalls i with dogs searching my house. I mean my life i ls so different on many levels than anyone I know, mod mom. Just relate to no one. It 's lonely.
Yes, 6' 225lbs. lol. Let me say first, my son is going into the 7th grade and is an all A honor roll, in the gifted and talented program and takes all Pre-AP classes. I guess really it is just mostly his attitude and immaturity? The reality is, he is probably acting his age, but when you look at him and you see this giant of a man child standing there with the whole chest of hair, it very easy to forget that he is only 12. He is involved in sports and he can not wait until school starts this year so that he can play football.
tatooed, Those are all really good signs. I used to say if the worst I had to put up with was sass, I was doing alright. As you can see here, things can be much worse.

No Robin. I'm on my own. His dad died when he was 6. Sometimes I get really mad at him for leaving me.
