I'm Flippin Out
Oh jeez! That made me smile and then cry. You can just tell how much he's adored by the younger ones. No matter what, our kids will always be our babies...no matter what. Thanks for sharing this Donna. :)
I'm crying watching it. If love were enough, he'd be fine. Thank you for taking the time to watch and see he has a heart and he's loved. He makes me very sad, but I also laugh when I watch him in this.
They're having so much fun! He's obviously a great brother.
Wow.. My heart aches for you my friend.. You're right.. He's their brother and your son, clearly adored and loved.. He's not the drugs he uses or the things he has done.. This young man in this video is wonderful.. And the fact that he would even take the time to play with the lit'l ones speaks volumes.. I love the lesson he teaches at the end of the video. The clash between being a good son and a good brother.. Isn't that the way it is in life always? We're expected to do one thing but it's so much more fun to play.. Hugs to you and your awesome son. :)
As you know, my big brother is a felon and he is doing time now too. This video got to me because despite my brothers criminal ways, he has always been so good to me. most guys would rather do anything than spend time with a little sister but not mine. When I was a teenager we had a standing saturday night date, after roller skating he would take me to the midnight show. I loved that time so much and looked forward to it. I can't count the dates I would pout my way to go on with him too, his girlfriends would be mad but he didn't care. He loves me and he always has. Loving a felon is no easy job Donna, I know how difficult it is, especially when you have memories like you have in this video. We know that inside there is a person we once knew and even though the drugs come along and shadow that person they once were, it's only a shadow. Drugs change a persons behavior but who they are is still in there. Hang on to that always because if you don't then the drugs really do win.

Thank you, he can be Kellie.
MiMi, that's exactly what I was trying to show. Thank you for the words that are in my heart, but can't verbalize.
LOVE this video!!! LOVE your children!!! Leaf angels, what fun. He is a good son AND a good brother AND a big kid! (Your little girl is so pretty too!) His siblings clearly adore him! How can anyone think he is a horrible person when he’s clearly so loved, and he takes the time to play with his younger siblings and shows his love for his family. Addiction is an illness and can cause crime, I know from family members, but it doesn’t mean they are bad people. Thank you, CrazyMama, for posting this for all to see how much (and why) you love your son no matter what has happened.
Jennifer, It's hard for people to understand there's usually a family behind a felon. I joke a lot about my life because it's how I cope, but my son, as it sounds your brother, isn't just the drugs he takes or the crimes he commits. Right now the police intend to charge him with a serious crime and if convicted, he will be sentenced for a long time. Memories are all I have of him right now. Last night my visit was cancelled and I was feeling sad, so I started watching this and decided to share it with you. Thanks for watching and your insights.
Jersey drugs have made him do horrible things.
That Donna, the boy in that video is your son, remember that! The video made me cry and laugh at the same time.
Me too Pj
